Dr Kim Hurst

January 14th, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of Dr Kim Hurst in March 2022.

We wish her and her family the best for the next chapter in their adventure.

She will be missed.

Words from Kim:

“After 12 years at Silverstream Health Centre, and as our young boys grow ever bigger, it is time for my family and I to move on to our next adventure. We are relocating to Central Otago in March and look forward to the experiences ahead. I am extremely grateful for the time I have spent in the Hutt Valley.

I thank my patients for putting their trust in me and allowing me to work with them to manage their health for more than a decade. I thank the staff at Silverstream Health Centre for working tirelessly (particularly over the last two years during the global pandemic) and sharing the ups and downs of healthcare life with me. I thank the Upper Hutt community for making me feel so welcome as a new migrant landing in Aotearoa all those years ago.

I wish the staff and patients of Silverstream Health Centre all the very best for the future – we are extremely lucky to have built a fantastic team who will undoubtedly serve the community admirably for many decades to come.”
