There will be enough of the Pfizer vaccine for everyone to get the 2 doses they need to be protected. People at greater risk will get vaccinated first.
If you’re 16 or over, answer the questions to find out when you can get a vaccine. Your result will tell you which group you’re probably in — Group 1, 2, 3, or 4 — depending on your age and situation.
These dates are estimates — the actual start times will depend on when vaccines are delivered. Changes may also happen if we get new information that affects how the rollout will work.
Group 3 vaccination appointments
Group 3 is very large. Approximately 50,000 people in the Hutt Valley alone are eligible.
Because the Government community vaccination centres can’t vaccinate everyone at once, they will be working with the medical practices in the Hutt Valley to invite people across several phases.
You will be contacted directly by the governments vaccination team when it is your turn to book an appointment at a community vaccination centre.
Everybody in group 3 will be invited to book an appointment before the end of July.
We are asking everyone be patient until they receive an invitation. This is so the community vaccination booking team can get people booked in as efficiently as possible.
We would like to stress that this process is managed by the government, not Silverstream Health Centre.
